WCG 2010 Grand Finals Coverage Hub
The 2010 WCG Grand Finals are set to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California from September 30th through October 3rd. Twentyfive teams have made the trip to the United States to represent their countries and compete for $40,000. The teams have been split into eight groups, with some of the groups being a little lopsided due to teams backing out after the group drawing.
The group stages will be played during the first two days of the event, starting Thursday, September 30th and ending Friday, October 1st. The top two teams from each group will advance to the bracket stage which is scheduled for Saturday, October 2nd. From there, the brackets will play out in a single-elimination best-of-three format with the Grand Final taking place on Sunday, October 3rd.
