ESEA Season 9 Registration Opens

After another successful LAN final with Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, and Team Fortress 2, ESEA is announcing registration for ESEA League Season 9 which will feature over $67,000 in cash prizes and a LAN event for all Invite division playoffs. Season 9 will also feature a number of improvements based on user and team feedback from Season 8.

Registration for Season 9 is now open and will remain so until Monday, June 6th, 2011 at 11:59pm CST.
Once registration closes there will be a week for teams to get
acquainted with the system and to schedule their first matches, which
will begin Sunday, June 12th, 2011.

Key Changes From Season 8 to Season 9

  • Increased prize pot from $62,050 to $67,000+
  • $10,000 first place prize for CS 1.6 Invite division
  • New ESEA Voice web panel to manage a team's free Mumble VOIP server
  • Increased number of League servers on new hardware to ease scheduling availability
