SteelSeries Launches Design by Gamers Event
SteelSeries, the leading manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories, has helped gamers for the past 10 years win by engineering and designing award-winning gaming peripherals, by working with the best gamers out there and by giving technology a purpose. This time, SteelSeries ia turning the tables and are asking their community to help us win.
For the past 10 years SteelSeries has
helped gamers win by engineering and designing award-winning gaming
peripherals, by working with the best gamers out there and by giving
technology a purpose (as opposed to just boosting meaningless numbers or
inventing fancy marketing terms). This time, we are turning the tables
and are asking our community to help us win. To our community of gamers,
fans, and friends, help us choose the best design for one of our next performance mice (set to be released in late 2011).
We have selected 8 new and original designs for our new mouse - now it's
up to our global gaming community to decide which of these concepts
will become the real product.
This event is a continuation of our 10
Year Anniversary (CotD) campaign where SteelSeries gave away hundreds of prizes
out to those who participated. As a thank you for taking part in this
new event, Design by Gamers participants will be asked to compose a
prize package of our peripherals to win. For each design voting round (3
rounds total -quarterfinals, semi-finals, finals ) SteelSeries will
select 3 winners among everyone who votes.
The first round bracket will run until Tuesday, April 26 (participants must enter by the close of the first round in order to participate in the semi-finals and finals).
And as an extra bonus - for everyone who votes in the last round, for
our final match up, we are giving away a brand new computer from
Shuttle Computers!
