MLG Anaheim Day Two Coverage
I had the opportunity to speak with Flatline about today's events in Anaheim where the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit is hosting their latest LAN. He tells me today's open brackets have concluded giving him the opportunity to watch some games being played. He is looking forward to playing the heart of the swarm, the next expansion for SC2 one that everyone in the venue is invited to sign up for and play in.
Flatline and Kitty visited the Steelseries booth where they met with the representative running the booth who told them about a new more ergonomic customizable headset that should be released within the next week. As well as giving them details and showing them the new MLG exclusive sensei mouse.
While playing in the WCS event Kitty as I'm sure you have read before placed in the top 8 and has qualified for the next event in Raleigh for the North American qualifiers. This is a great finish for Kitty and we wanted to congratulate him on a job well done. I've been told he was in the venue last night until 2 o'clock in the morning finishing up his games before he was able to leave and get some rest.
So far the guys are enjoying themselves and the opportunity to hang out with some guys from Check Six Gaming and Quantic gaming concluding their nights at late night sandwich places.
The event today is fielding a side tournament in League of Legends as the open bracket tournaments have concluded. MLG is hosting the SC2 Kespa invitational which has brought about a lot of attention as this is the first time these players have been to North America for SC2.
