Area51 takes 2nd at LANchamp Baltimore
Today marks the start for the $10,000 LANchamp Baltimore event. The
event is being held just outside of Baltimore, Maryland at the Graphix
Gaming LAN center. LANchamp Baltimore will feature four teams who have
qualified online and earned the right to go after a piece of the $10,000
prize pot.
The four teams competing in this event include Dynamic, Cyber Revolution, SP, and our very own Area51 USA. Team Dynamic comes into this event as the current ESEA-Invite champions and defending CEVO-Professional champions as well as the only team to have former LANchamp event experience. Cyber Revolution will be entering the event as the runner up behind Dynamic in both ESEA-Invite and CEVO-Professional. while SP comes into this event as a new comer they have with CEVO-Professional experience. Area51 USA probably comes into the event as the most unexpected competitor as they had a major upset win against Mika Gaming.
The event itself will be covered by an ESEA News crew consisting of Wizard, StarLight, and the one-and-only Ksharp to help provide the best coverage possible to CS:S fans.
