They have recruited some of the old Gotfrag staff and have done a pretty decent job so far. The only problem that I can see is that there will most likely be no negative light ever being shined on the ESEA league considering...................they also own the news site! So it has the potential to be somewhat biased. Anyway, some points of interest for our CS 1.6 team and Area 51 is in the ESEA CS 1.6 Main Rankings.

"James and his boys, or should i say old men, are back at it for another season of main. They had a very solid regular season and looked like the team to beat heading into the playoffs, but fell short to both PLP and Vicious to take third. They have a tough first week match, going up against Blight Canada, but Area51 should be able to handle just about any team the schedule throws at them."

After two embarrassing losses (due to complications of one of our players not being able to rejoin the server and us playing like absolute garbage) it is to be expected for us to drop down in the rankings a bit.

Area51...where are you? I was really upset that these guys lost so badly to both of their opponents. This week should be good for them to bounce back, but they will have to try. They will be playing eXpertise, the same team that ended up beating Vicious Gaming last week. They will also be playing against GoodfellaS. They should be able to win both of these, bringing them back into the game, but if they lose both, they might want to rethink their strategy this season.

We all know that the regular season means nothing as long as you make playoffs. This is apparent as we barely lost a game in the previous regular season and managed to only finish third place. We did have the hardest schedule to start out the season but things are slowing starting to feel good since we've replaced Lbs. Wish us luck in getting our first W of the season tonight as we play another playoff contending team tonight on strike at 11pm est
