Area51.cs dominating Cevo-Main
After the Counter-Strike 1.6 team suffered tough losses in the CEVO Season 11 Professional Placement Tournament that prevented them from qualifying for the Professional division they have been on a mission to destroy all teams in their way. The Area51.cs team currently sits in first place in the CEVO-Main standings with an 16-1 record. They are currently on a 7 gaming winning streak suffering their only loss this season to Backfire (currently 2nd in standings) in week 7-1 on de_russka.
The playoffs for CEVO-Main Season 11 are set to begin on September 17th and expected to conclude on October 12th. The top 12 teams in the main division ranked by CPI (more on CPI) will get their chance to battle it out for a piece of the $3,500 prize pool. For those of you unaware Season 11 of the Counter-Strike 1.6 division features $12,800 total in cash and prizes. The $12,800 will be spread out among CEVO's Free, Open, Main and Professional divisions.
