Area51 Tf2 With Break Even Start

With the third week of ESEA-League Season 7 in the books for Team Fortress 2 the Area51.tf2 looks to sit at an even 3-3 record in the invite division. The Team Fortress 2 invite division features teams such as compLexity, Evil Genusises, and of course our very own Area51. The Area51.tf2 division has so far faced off against The Mobility Eleven, eMazing Gaming, Apoplexy Industries, Blight Gaming, and compLexity this season.

For week one Area51.tf2 faced off against The Mobility Eleven and eMazing Gaming on koth_viaduct. The first match of week one against The Mobility Eleven went quite easily in Area51.tf2 favor as they were able to secure an easy 4-0 victory. The second match of the week versus eMazing Gaming didn't quite go so well as they were defeated 2-4 putting their record at the end of week one at 1-1.

Week two matches would pretty much fall the same way as the team would be put up against Apoplexy Industries and Blight Gaming on cp_coldfront. Area51.tf2 would first crush Apoplexy Industries 5-1 and then suffer a 3-5 loss to Blight Gaming. The team would yet again finish the week at 1-1 and put their overall record at 2-2 at the end of week two.

Week three would be played on cp_granary against eMazing Gaming and compLexity. The first match of the week would see Area51.tf2 suffer another loss to eMazing Gaming in a 2-5 fashion. The second match of the week would be against the powerhouse compLexity where the team would edge out a 5-4 victory putting the teams overall record at 3-3. After week three I had to a chance to sit down with Area51 very own Patrick "StPatrick" Burtion and ask him his thoughts so far in the season.

" While a couple of things haven't gone our way, we are fairly pleased with our current position at 3-3. We hope to further our success as the season continues and hopefully make it to the playoffs to represent Area51."
