Area51 16 Eliminated

Finesse and Loaded topple Underestimated and Area51, respectively, to move on in the Lower Bracket. Both ue and 51 have been eliminated.

Underestimated got off to a great start as they took the offensive side of Train against Finesse. The onslaught proved to be too much for Finesse as they quickly fell 13-2 in the first half. Gares and his crew would bounce back though by taking the pistol round, lead by semphis' four usp frags. Finesse would rally seven rounds before Underestimated finally took a defensive round. In the end, ue managed to get the three rounds required to close out the map 16-13, despite Finesse racking up eleven rounds on T side.

They moved to Tuscan for the second map, where Finesse had a lot of trouble against compLexity in the Upper Bracket. This wouldn't be the case here, as they really took it to Underestimated facing elimination. A 9-6 first half lead was followed up with a 16-9 victory to send the series to a third map. All tied up, Dust 2 would be the decider and Finesse couldn't have asked for anything better than starting off on T side. In a role reversal of the Train match, Finesse brought the pain with their well coordinated attacks to amass a 13-2 first half lead. It was all over when the team's switched sides as ue couldn't pull out the comeback and Finesse lived on to play tomorrow.

The other Lower Bracket match was eerily similar. On Train, it was Area51 who completely locked down the bomb sites with every member of the team carrying the weight. They rolled to a 14-1 first half in what seemed to be an easy victory. However, Loaded was not about to keel over. They took the pistol round and found the momentum they needed to get back on track. Round after round they shut down Area51 led by hostile and pauLy. They strung together ten rounds in a row before Area51 got the tying 15th round to crush Loaded's spirits and took the final round right after to finish off the map 16-11.

The series continued on Tuscan as Loaded had their backs to the wall. A close fought first half saw the boys from Loaded snag an 8-7 lead with their offense. They took the second half pistol and completely locked down Area51 to tie up the series at 1-1 following the 16-8 victory. Moving over to Dust 2, steno's aggressive calling style helped propel his team to a 12-3 lead on T side. Area51 would attempt to stay alive, but weren't able to string enough rounds together and eventually fell 16-9.

Both Underestimated and Area51 have been eliminated from the event at 5-6th place. They'll be looking for redemption during Arbalet Cup Dallas. Finesse and Loaded will face off in the Lower Bracket tomorrow morning.
