Area51.cs Eliminated from Arbalet Dallas, Finishes 16th
The Area51.cs teams run through the Arbalet Cup Dallas has been cut short as they have been eliminated from the competition. After playing some tough matches in day one and squeaking through to the second day of competition the Area51.cs team drew into group 1 with the likes of Evil Geniuses, Mousesports and iDemise.Area51.cs started off the day against North America #1 team Evil Geniuses on de_train. The team wasn't really able to get any momentum going as they suffered a devastating 28-2 loss. Their next match was against iDemise a pug team with a lot of individual talent. Going into this match I really personally felt that the team had a good shot at winning or at least making it really close unfortunately that was not the case as they got blown out 25-5. The last match the team got to play was against the German all-stars and IEM European champions Mousesports. Going into this match I really didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised when the team manged to get 11 rounds on mousesports and only lost 19-11.
While Area51 wasn't able to get past the second group stage they still gained quite a bit of experience not to mention a 16th place finish and $1,500.
