Started playing online First Person Shooters back in 2003 when Enemy Territory was released for free by Splash Damage.  Played that game for about 4 years through which my team managed to win a TWL and CAL championship, as well as represent Canada several times in the Nations Cup.

After my ET days I played a little Call of Duty 2 with the Commission in CAL-IM and stuck with that game until the Quake Wars beta was released during the summer of '07.  That is where I met Method-, Esoteric, GoneMad, Dread and several other Area 51 members for the first time.

When Quake Wars didn't turn out to be the game I expected/wanted, I made the jump to Call of Duty 4 where I played a couple of seasons of CAL-im and CEVO-a with Gameface in '08 and early '09.  I stayed in touch with Method and his cronies and pubbed CoD4 with them and occasionally connected to vent to be verbally assaulted by Eso.

I eventually returned to play season 3 of Quake Wars with Hubris but competition in that game died shortly afterward.  I played Wolfentein for a short time after that and managed to take third place with Team Fate in a $10,000 Tournament Sponsored by Intel which TGL ran - $1750 split five ways :|

Ever since my original team I never did find a solid group which I could see myself playing with for the unforeseeable  future (with the exception of Hubris), either due to personality differences or lack of stability/dedication.  With Modern Warfare 2 on the horizon in the Fall of '09, I was team-less once again and found myself back on Area 51's vent with Method and his merry bunch of faggots.  We tried our hand at MW2 CTF and left that game as the #1 CTF ladder team with a grand total of 3 matches played.

The novelty of that game quickly wore off and with the Bad Company 2 beta due out in February 2010,  we were looking for the next game we could all compete in together (and hopefully enjoy).  Here we are, a few months after release in the #2 ranked spot with two weeks left of the regular season.  Looking to finish strong and bring it home for Area 51.

As long as they are playing an fps, it's the last group I will ever play with :)
