Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu Challenge
Tomorrow (October 1st) marks the start of the next Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu, China. The event will run from October 1st-3rd and feature $65,000 in prize money spread across 3 games (Counter-Strike 1.6, WarCraft 3 and DotA). This past weekend teams/players that qualified for the WCG USA National Final 2009 squared of at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. The best USA video game players battled it out in 10 different top title games for a total prize pot of $100,000. 20 WCG gamers earned spots on the Team USA roster for the trip to China for the WCG Grand Finals.
