This past Wednesday the Area51.l4d team won CEVO's Left 4 Dead 2 Versus Tourney #2 by defeating Trouble in a Pot. The tournament itself had a total of 37 registered teams with the top 6 teams fighting it out in a double elimination finals bracket.

The early stages of the tournament itself was fairly easy for Area51.l4d as they defeated n0AiM, Logik, PLRB and Domination in dominating fashion (4-0) to secure themselves a spot in the double elimination finals bracket not to mention a first round bye. The finals were as anyone would have expected quite a bit more competitive compared to the early stages of the tournaments as the final 6 teams seemed to play on a different level. The Area51.l4d team would end up defeating Stoned to Death and B.O.N.E.R to advance the the Grand Finals and play the lower bracket champions Trouble in a Pot. In the Grand Finals Trouble in a Pot would edge out Area51 in the first map with a score of 3344-3152. The second map would be a different story as Area51.l4d locked the map down and won with a score of 4358-2499 and taking first place. Oh did I happen to mention that this is the third tournament Area51.l4d has won in a row.
