After an overtime loss verses unRestricted in Upper Bracket Finals, Area51 Gaming got a second chance to come back and win the tournmament. Winning the first map, Skidrow, in a come back from being down 7-5 Area51 Gaming went into HighRise with a lot of determination. Having lost to unRestricted on this very map in their last encounter Area51 took control early on.  After the match we caught up with the MW2 captain to get his take on the HighRise match.

 "This was a big win for us because Highrise was the map we lost 13-12 to unR[estricted] in the Winners Bracket Finals. We pretty much lead the map the whole time and we were up 12-9, but when they battled back to 12-11 we began to have that deja vu feeling. The final round was ended as Wrechtangle took out unR's top fragger via a longshot with the TAR-21. unR was a team we knew we could beat we just had a bad showing the last time we played them. We didn't let the prior loss verses unR get to us, very proud of my guys."

This is Area51 Gamings third tournament win out of four showings. The only one to not place first they placed second. Area51 Gaming is looking forward to taking the GACGL title and TWL's Season 2 title as well.
