It was a long season.  After several roster moves and playing some matches 4v5, Area51 CSS finished the regular season of ESEA Season 5 with a record of 14-2, the 2nd seed for the playoffs.  After a good start of 3-0, the team had a road bump losing a match to eximius on de_season.  Area51 would not give up hope.  After making a run all the way to the lower bracket finals, the team succeeding in making it back up to the top facing ViN for the grand finals.  The match was immediately after the lower bracket finals, so we had no time to prepare for the team awaiting for us.  After a strong 10-5 lead, the team ran out of gas and lost 12-16 on de_dust2, finishing 2nd overall.  The team will be considered a strong moveup candidate for ESEA Invite, however with the implementation of the new ESEA Main for CSS, Area51 might have an automatic bid for that spot.  Look to stay tuned for roster updates as the CEVO P Placement and ESEA Season 6 season comes up!
