GameGune 2010 will be held from 22-24 July at Bilbao's Exhibition Centre (BEC), with the tournament once again taking place under the auspices of the Euskal party.

The competition, open to 32 teams, will feature a total prize purse of 22,500 euros, which is the exact same amount handed out at the event last year.

Teams can already start applying for an invitation by sending an email to gamegune@euskalencounter.org, after which the organisation will select who will be invited. The registration price is set at 42 euros if paid in advance, and 45 euros if paid on location.

The last two GameGune editions were marked by the last-minute dropouts of some teams and by the absence of some world-class names, mainly due to e-Stars Seoul taking place at the same time in both years.

With GameGune announcing its 2010 event more than four months in advance, chances are this tournament will finally have the CS cream in action.
