Tonight marks the start of the ESL-American Season 2 Invite Division. Notable teams in ESL-Invite include compLexity, compLexity.ca, Gravitas Gaming, MugNMouse and of course our very own Area51 Gaming. The ESL-Invite regular season will span from about August 2nd to about September 19th where the teams will be playing for a piece of the $1600 prize pot up for grabs.

For the first match of ESL-Invite Area51 will be facing off against the newly resurrected Meepins. For those of you unfamiliar with Meepins they were formed in 2001 and ended up dieing in 2007 but they have now reformed with 5 of their original members plus a few additions. The match is to be played on the infamous de_dust2 which based on past results is Area51`s weakest map. I am sure however that Jame^s and company are looking to rebound from their less that impressive ESEA-Invite season.
