Well it's finally here the new online presence of  Area51 Gaming is launched. As you can tell we have a totally new look and feel  to the website along with an amazing new logo (thanks Melissia). The design process of the website was quite tedious as both Vertigo and myself stayed up quite late countless nights trying to figure out a new design that would allow us to supply the Area51 community with a vast resource of news but also allowing ease of use for the user. We also struggled finding a designer that could meet our needs as well as our design deadline but luckily I was able to get in contact with Melissa and she was then able to finish the website design in about 2-3 days.

As for the development of the client side and server side of the website I would have to thank Brad Bickford for all his hard work and putting up with me on those late nights. When I first spoke to Brad about the website and explained what I was looking for as far as features as well as overall user usage he simply said "lets get started".

Now as far as features go I will a few key ones that we currently have implemented.
