Oh holy crap where to start. First of all, a little background on LAN Lordz (www.lanlordz.net) its a smaller scale LAN usually boasting above 50 people in attendance. They have a metric-ton of sponsors for that size of LAN, and its held at a local technical college with plenty of infrastructure to support it. I came to the LAN with a semi-working computer.

I recently built a new computer as I'm sure everyone saw my blog post (but then again maybe you didn't) and I had vista home installed (yes I know shame on me!) and it was running for about 25 hours MAX before it'd hard lock forcing a reboot. So I had a friend at the LAN with an OS he said he'd let me use. Well that didn't work or install, so I had a $1100 hunk of metal sitting on the desk next to me unuseable. But lets back up a little bit, the LAN started at 3pm on Saturday and its now what? 4:15 am sunday morning and I just now got everything installed and I'm waiting for stuff to install as I type this.

I missed out on ALL the gaming, which wasn't all too bad because their only tournaments were TF2 4v4 and PocketTanks (yawn). But so far the computer has been working without a hitch really, installing drivers were a BITCH as I forgot my driver disk at home (again, shame on me). But I've got all my games, and configs re-installed so I got about an hours worth of gaming in at least. But now its time to pack up as it is over at 5am so PZ!
