D3 Impressions ! Posted by strength on 02/09/2012
Okay so i have not written a blog in sometime. I wanted to write one about Diablo 3 because alot of people were unlucky to get invited into their beta, even after their 100k give away of beta accounts. I was lucky enough to be one of those people! YAY for me! Anyway here is a quick summary of my thoughts.

- D3 movement feels alot like D2

- The only thing that sucks is that the wizard (as of now) CAN NOT teleport like the sorc did in D2. What I mean by this is that the teleport will have a cool down. -_-;;

- There are NO mana pots. Every class has their own 'mana' name. The mana regenerates on its own. Also, there is NO scrolls for town portals. You can use your own town portal anytime you want, it just takes time (~6 seconds) for u to get back into town.

- As of yet, you CAN NOT put your own stats into str, dex, mana, vita. They are pre set for every level gained. Saying that, There are mostly no requirements for items besides level required to use it. Also, you CAN NOT choose what skill you want per level. Its automatically designed for each level, everyone gets the same new skill (per class).

- There is a 'noob friendly' arrow that points you in the correct direction on your map. I love this feature because I know I will not be wasting my time looking around for a dumb hidden cave of some bullshit. Yay!

Those are the only main changes that I can think of. Since these are the only things that I can think of on top of my head, these are the topics I must only care about. I am very happy on the way the game is turning out, it looks very sexy and I am very addicted to it. I know I will be that nerd who has no life for the first two weeks it comes out. (The word is April !!!)

Thanks for reading,

it does seem a bit noob friendlier from the way you described it. im not crazy about that but thats not always a bad thing and i certainly will appreciate not having to spend 26 hours in act 3 trying to find a path i missed in the trees.
