What up guys,
Im sittin here waiting for a scrim so i figure i can update everyone on the whats-what and whos-who in the l4d2 world :P
First
off im proud to say that we have gone undefeated so far in the Confogl
Cup and we are now the Winners Bracket champions. The only match left
to play would be the Grand Finals against team TiP (trouble in a pot)
who will most likely win the losers bracket... these guys are good but
we beat them 9/10 times in scrims so i figure we have a good handle on
things as long as we bring our A- game.
Secondly, a new league
is being hosted on Cybergamer.org for l4d2!! After waiting for quite a
while post Alienware Arena, we finally have some (official) competetive
action to bring in new teams and hopefully net us some prizes =D.
There will be 2 devisions in this league: Pro, and Amatuer. After a
placement tourny that starts at the beginning of August the top 20%
will compete in the Pro devision while the rest of the teams will play
in the Amatuer division. Look for us owning it up in CG-P later this
summer!
And last but not least... our old friend CEVO has
announced that they will be hosting a new l4d2 league as well! The
start date is yet unannounced, and of course its like pulling teeth to
get CEVO to actually use a decent config in their league... however we
are always happy to have more action to take part in.
